Road construction works in full swing in Vangai Sub-Division
Patpuihmun, the headquarters of Vangai Sub-Division for the first time will soon have an all-weather road as construction works are on full swing, reports Virthli.
Black topping works are being carried out under the PMGSY rural roads scheme, said local MLA Pu Dr Chalton Amo. He added that engineers engaged in construction of the crucial bridge over Tuiruong (Barak) River between Patpuihmun and Taithu were optimistic about its completion by early next year.
The road connects Patpuihmun with neighbouring Jiribam, the Sub-Divisional HQ of Jiribam District, and also Churachandpur via Pherzawl.
