Pherzawl comes last in Cleanliness Award 2018

Pherzawl, the headquarters of Pherzawl District, came last in the 2nd State Level Cleanliness Award 2018, according to MAHUD Dept, Government of Manipur.

Coming at 16th position, the district headquarters could get just 57 points as against the winning district HQ of Kakching which got 306 points. It’s not clear what we’re the criteria for judging how clean the district headquarters are. However, one official source told CIDE that proper toilets were one among several conditions to be considered for the top spot in Cleanliness Award.
