Pherzawl High School

Pherzawl High School, at one time, was known for producing IAS and IFS students.

Now, the school is almost reduced to rubble.

Established in 1951, Pherzawl High School was once a notable school which provided education not only to students of the State but also students from Mizoram. The school now adorned by wretched roof is being run by substitute teachers.

The school has 60 students. One classroom has ‘Computer Room’ written on the door. However, apart from a microscope and few broken test tubes, not a single set of computer could be seen. Science laboratory has no lab equipment except for few broken tables. Source: Sangai Express
