Pherzawl Express bus service relaunch tomorrow

Hmar Veng (Churachandpur): Pherzawl Express bus service which was stopped immediately soon after its inauguration earlier year by Chief Minister Pu Biren Singh is all set to roll again, according to transport officials.

“Pherzawl Express bus service which has been stopped for many months will be relaunched on November 30 at 8 am at Churachandpur DTO in Hmar Veng,” District Transport Officer Grace Laihlizo told pherzawldistrict.com.

The 17-seater bus will be jointly flagged off by Pherzawl District Deputy Commissioner Pi Mannuamching and her Churachandpur counterpart Pu Shyamlal Poonia.

“Those wishing to utilised the service may contact Churachandpur District Transport Office,” she added.

The general public has been invited to the relaunch event and Citizens’ Initiative for Development and Empowerment will be represented by co-founder Pu Timothy Z. Zote.
