Appreciation

The people’s hunger for development in Pherzawl District is loud and clear. However, due to many reasons, our district has been behind in many quarters. So, a group few individuals came up with an idea of building a web portal where people of the district can get access to information and even connect with officials (both elected and the bureaucrats). Thus, was born pherzawldistrict.com.

Our appreciation goes out to the first DC of Pherzawl District Pu Tombikanta Singh, IAS, for supporting this idea in his private capacity even to the last days of his term. Our appreciation also goes to current DC Pi Mannuamching, IAS, for her eagerness in pushing ahead with development agenda. We also thank the DLOs for their cooperation. In this regard, special thanks to ZEO Pi Lalhminglien and CMO Pu Liankhawzam Guite for taking the extra mile during our data collection process.

Lastly, but not the least, we appreciate the moral support extended by Pu Malsawmthang Keivom and the volunteers who helped in the collection of data.

Let’s make Pherzawl District a leading example for others.
